Challenges

*Challenges at Camporee*
	William D. Boyce Challenge
	Called the Trail Events, there will be 10 new skill challenges for the patrol to challenge. Your patrol will work the trail either in the morning or afternoon.

	Fun Events
	This year points will be awarded for participating in the Fun Events. Intellectual challenges will abound. Keep tuned for updates as they become available.

	Meal Inspection
	Or as they say on TV...the Iron Chef. Sounds tempting. One can only wonder about the details. Registered troops get the info first.

	The Challenge of Baden-Powell
	How appropriate to have a compitition named after the founder, especially when saluting Brownsea. It's the troop challenge.

	Campsite Inspection
	Practice Leave No Trace. Get points.

	The Hike In.
	A Pack check. Be prepared to hike at Brinkley. We will not be parking in the normal parking lot. How far is it from the grocery store??

	Patrol Flags
	Creativity sparks here. Are all the members listed? Is it scout made and designed? Acutriments?

	Honor Troop Award
	Be the best you can be - work as a troop.

Fun Events -	All fun events are worth Patrol points!
Geo Caching –	a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout Camp Brinkley using GPS devices.
Trebuchet -	come and try your luck at launching rocks into the lake.
Survivor Challenge Areas*	Survivor special bonus: All “Survivor” participants will receive a surprise and be in a Raffle drawing for prizes.
*Locks –	Do math problems, figure out combinations and unlock Paddle locks.
*Concentration -	Identify and match “Brinkley” items found in camp.
*Dinosaur puzzle challenge –	teams will build large 3D wood Dinosaurs.
Tarp Flipping -	teams will stand on a tarp and try to flip the tarp over without touching the ground.
Board games –	Scouts can play a variety of games for points.
